After moving to a new Club, you will be unable to contribute League Points to it until the timer counts down and the next day begins. This is to let your position in the new Club record properly.

Switching Clubs multiple times within the same day will not extend the timer, though you will not be able to contribute League Points even if you return to your old Club.
