To turn off your game sounds/music:

1. Open the game to the Main Lobby

2. Tap on the Menu (☰) button
 
3. Select 'Settings' 

From here you'll be able to make changes to your sound settings.
These settings do not affect the volume used when ads are displayed. For that, you need to adjust the volume on your device.
