After you have accepted the offer of a Comp drink and a countdown timer has begun, you must remain in the machine to be eligible to collect it. Leaving the machine will forfeit the Comp.

After the timer has counted down and you have received a drink from the Comp wheel, that progress carries over to different machines.

If you go to a different machine and receive another Comp, the drink you received from the first machine will be there, counting as progress towards the Comp jackpot.
